The shower and wedding preparations were a welcome counterpoint to Benni and Gabe's marital problem. So was the glimpse into Detective Hudson's past. Gah! On the other hand, the unfolding of Maple Sullivan's story was interesting. Times have changed, it could serve as a lesson, and there are people who are still hurting. Gabe Ortiz and Benni Harper both annoyed me this time, although my biggest gripe with this book is what happened after the cold case is solved. ![]()

The Weeknd’s R&B plot twist is that his falsetto croon, cunning production, and vulnerable charisma offer a tender caress until you find out that love is really a serial killer hiding in the closet. ![]() And though the production comes from his early-aughts mixtape era, it’s also ahead of its time, feeling like something that could easily soundtrack a depressing episode of Euphoria. A chugging beat and ominous, choir-like vocals nearly drown him out, but his slightly moribund voice continues with the steely resolve of someone who intimately knows rock bottom. The foggy darkness of “The Fall” is a vintage remnant of the Weeknd’s bleakest, most sedated soundscapes. I think these series are the perfect example for kids who find it difficult to find a good book or don't like to read. That's an example on how the author gives the cats 'human' feelings without exagerating. When the dark threat grows in the forest, you can just feel Fireheart's fear. The story is full of loyality, suspense, intrige and there's Always a clifhanger.(In this book you can take that last part very literally).Īt every moment that you think the story is dragging on or is getting boring, there is a new secret, dangerous situations.that keeps you reading further.
